İsmail Kürtük graduated from the political science and public administration department of the University of Kocaeli in Turkey with a Bachelor’s degree. After that graduation, he worked in the family textile company in the position of crisis and risk manager for a year (2012-2013) and also in the position of project supervisor the subsequent year (2013-2014).

According to PM World Library Director David Pells, “Ismail Kürtük contributed a number of articles and papers on intuition and project management, a very interesting new topic for the library.  He researched some other useful topics as well, but the resources he found on intuition and improvisation in managing projects were really interesting.”

According to Ismail, “This internship was very useful for me.  In addition to researching some new and interesting topics, I learned more about researching project management on the internet.  I highly recommend this program to other students.”

Pells added, “Ismail was our second intern from the University of Southampton.  Like Ömer Dağlı before him, Ismail conducted useful research and contributed interesting resources to the library; we look forward to working with more Southampton students in the future.”
