Univ. Prof. Dkfm. Dr. Roland Gareis consults for national and international companies on the topics of process, project, and change management as well as business analysis. He has developed the management method “Management by Projects” and is author of different publications, such as the books “Happy Projects!” and “Processes & Projects”. He was a Visiting Professor at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich, and at the University of Quebec in Montreal. He was the Chairman of the Austrian Project Management Association (pma) and organized the IPMA world congress on „Management by Projects“ in 1990. He is the former research director of the IPMA. Roland Gareis was university Professor and director of the „Professional MBA in Project & Process Management“, and head of the PROJEKTMANAGEMENT GROUP at WU, the University of Economics and Business Administration in Vienna, Austria until 2013.
