Editor’s note: I was saddened by the news of Ron Waller’s death. He and I served on the PMI Board of Directors together and received the PMI Fellow award together in 1999. We worked on many PMI matters together, had some adventures and remained friends. He had a lot of influence on PMI during the 1990s, was a good person with strong convictions, and will be missed by those who knew him. David L. Pells, PMI Fellow
