Project and Technology Management Foundation launched as new non-profit PM association in India


12 December 2012 – A new non-profit project management professional association has been launched in New Delhi, India.  The Project and Technology Management Foundation (PTMF) was founded in 2010 by Prof. Rajat Baisya and colleagues from the Indian Institute of Technology and several other major Indian institutions.  Now it is growing and gaining traction. PTMF is now a member of Asia Pacific Federation of Project Management (apfpm).

The mission of PTMF is to create a dynamic network of professionals, practitioners, academics and students in India and abroad to exchange ideas, disseminate knowledge, carry out research, and provide training and accreditation in the area of project and technology management

Management of the PTMP includes:

Prof Rajat K. Baisya, Founder and President, responsible for membership and coordination with national and international organizations.

Ramesh S. Tyagi, Editor, Newsletter, to be published quarterly and circulated widely

Dr Sunil Abrol, Training, skill development, workshops, conferences

Prof  N.C. Patnaik, Research and Development, Case Studies, Certificate Programme in Project Management

  • v  Short term programmes for Skill development in managing projects;
  • v  Network with similar professional bodies in International field.
  • v  Increase membership base to 250-300, including corporate and individual members.
