PM World Library joins social media with new Facebook launch


New Facebook site to provide flash news and library updates for members and friends around the project management world

15 May 2014 – London, Sydney, Dallas – PM World has announced that it is finally embracing social media with a new site on Facebook for the PM World Library (PMWL).  The new Facebook page will provide an opportunity to keep library members and friends updated on news, changes and new information posted in the library on a regular basis.  The new PMWL Facebook site can be found at https://www.facebook.com/PMWorldLibrary.

140515-pmwJ23-facebook-IMAGEAccording to PMWL Director David Pells (pictured), “I resisted social media for as long as possible in an effort to avoid excessive email updates.  But it is no longer responsible for us to ignore Facebook and other social media services when so many of our readers and library members rely on them for updates and news.”

“In addition, we want to get the word out about our online project management library,” Pells adds.  “We don’t want to be another one of those best kept secrets in the project management world. So please Friend us on Facebook and help spread the word.”

The PM World Library (PMWL) is a global resource for continuous learning in portfolio, program and project management (P/PM).  A repository for all authors and works published in the monthly PM World Journal, the PMWL now contains nearly 800 original P/PM articles, papers and other works by more than 400 authors from around the world.  The library will also soon contain a vast amount of other P/PM information for students, researchers and practicing professionals.  More P/PM resources are being added daily, thus the need for frequent updates.  To learn more, visit www.pmworldlibrary.net.
