What is a high-performing megaproject? Performance is a notion to our understanding of the megaproject phenomena and to advance the debate on this complicated organization form for producing capital and designed assets. Performance is also a fundamental notion in the practice of megaprojects, and thus, in the exercise of leadership and governance megaprojects. Paradoxically, our understanding of megaproject performance is still emerging. Aside from the traditional econometric cost-benefit analysis, the notion of a high-performing megaproject remains surprisingly ambiguous and prone to misconceptions.

Making sense of a high-performing megaproject is the theme of this year’s workshop. Attendees can receive 8.5 Professional Development Units (PDUs), 0.85 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), or 10.2 Continuing Professional Education (CPEs) hours for their attendance.
