IPMA announces four new National Member Associations in France, Mexico, Nepal and Peru

2 October 2013 – Dubrovnik, Croatia – The International Project Management Association (IPMA) has admitted four new national project management associations as full IPMA member associations – associations located in France, Mexico, Nepal and Peru.  The announcement was made following the meeting of the IPMA Council of Delegates (CoD) on September 29th 2013 in the Valamar Resort Babin Kuk in Dubrovnik, Croatia, with delegates from 43 IPMA Member Associations (MA) in attendance. The meeting was organized by Croatian Association for Project Management (CAPM), the local IPMA MA, and hosted by Professor Mladen Radujkovic, president of both CAPM and IPMA.

ipmaThe IPMA CoD approved unanimously the membership applications of the French Société Management de Projet, Asociacion Mexicana de Ingenieria de Proyectos, Project Management Association Nepal, and Asociacion Peruana de Dirección de Proyectos in Peru. These Member Associations were previously transitional members of IPMA, and are now full members of IPMA.

Société Management de Projet (SMaP) in France was represented at the CoD meeting in Dubrovnik by Mrs Agnès Roux-Kiener, a member of SMaP Board of Directors, who was very happy with full IPMA membership.  Please navigate to www.smap-asso.eu for further information.

The Asociacion Mexicana de Ingenieria de Proyectos (AMIP), based in Mexico City, is the new Mexican national project management association. Registered in Kathmandu in January 2009, the Project Management Association of Nepal (PMAN) was formed to advance the knowledge and practice of project management through publication, education and training, research, certification, awards, standards, and member services in Nepal across all sectors.  PMAN was represented in Dubrovnik by Mr. Tikajit Rai, PMAN President. Based in Lima, Peru, the Asociacion Peruana de Dirección de Proyectos (APDP) is the Peruvian national project management association, now a full member of IPMA.  The full membership application in Kubrovnik was presented  by Mr Germán Gallardo Zevallos, APDP President.
