Hill International to provide PMO services to Iraqi State Housing Commission


29 April 2013 – Marlton, NJ, USA and Baghdad, Iraq – Hill International has announced that it has been awarded a contract from the State Housing Commission (SHC) of the Iraq Ministry of Construction and Housing to provide project management oversight (PMO) consulting services in connection with various housing developments throughout Iraq. The two-year contract has an estimated value to Hill of approximately $5.7 million.

The Iraq Ministry of Construction and Housing is specialized in the works ( roads and bridges, public buildings, residential complexes) through the three commissions (State Commission for Roads and Bridges, State Commission for Buildings, State Commission for Housing) that undertake the tasks of preparation investment plans for the Ministry of Construction and Housing and everything related to them (from preparation of economic and technical feasibility studies, design preparations, the preparation of BoQ, the announcement and the subsequent actions), and to oversee it in implementation through its directorates deployed in all governorates of the country.
