Famous British Psychologist to open IPMA 2014 World Congress in Rotterdam



Day One to include keynote by Richard Wiseman, welcomes from IPMA Leaders, full day of presentations and evening parties

10 July 2014 – Rotterdam, The Netherlands – Organizers of the 28th IPMA World Congress on Project Management have announced their final program and full slate of keynote speakers, and day one will certainly be entertaining. The 28th IPMA World Congress, with the theme “Innovation Through Dialogue,” will be held from 29 September to 1 October 2014 at the World Trade Center in the City of Rotterdam, The Netherlands. 140710-pmwj25-Wiseman-IMAGEFollowing welcomes by APM President and Congress Chair Tom Taylor and IPMA President Mladen Radujković, the congress will open at 09:00 on 29 September with a keynote presentation by British author, psychologist and Professor Richard Wiseman (pictured right). His talk on “The Luck Factor” is sure to be fascinating and highly entertaining.

Richard Wiseman holds Britain’s only Professorship in the Public Understanding of Psychology, at the University of Hertfordshire. His research into a range of topics including luck, the psychology of change, deception and persuasion has been published in leading academic journals, while his psychology-based YouTube videos have received over 200 million views. He is the author of several books that have been translated into over 30 languages, including The Luck Factor, Quirkology, Rip it Up and the international bestseller 59 Seconds. Richard was recently named as one of the 30 most influential working psychologists in the world.
