Dr. Harold Kerzner Keynote at University of Maryland 2015 Project Management Symposium now available



Project Management 2.0: Planning for the Future of Project Management

10 June 2015 – College Park, MD, USA – The University of Maryland’s Project Management Center for Excellence has announced that the video of Dr. Harold Kerzner’s keynote presentation on Monday, 8 June 2015, is now available to the public. With this realization, executives are now exhibiting more trust in project managers and have begun delegating more authority to project managers with regard to both project and business decision-making, and have also recognized the application of project management to more long-term, complex projects that require the use of virtual teams. All of this, as well as other changes, are now part of PM 2.0.

Dr. Harold Kerzner is the Senior Executive Director for Project Management for the International Institute for Learning (IIL). He has a MS and Ph.D. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Utah State University. He is a prior Air Force Officer and spent several years at Morton-Thiokol in project management. He taught engineering at the University of Illinois and business administration at Utah State University, and for 37 years taught project management at Baldwin-Wallace University. He has published or presented numerous engineering and business papers, and has published more than 50 college textbooks on project management, including later editions. Read more here
