Dena holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Basics of Risk Management in Construction Projects. She is a member of IPMA Young Crew and the Croatian Association for Construction Management.

The PMWL project management research program was launched in late 2015 to offer project management students the opportunity to conduct research and identify new resources for the library in exchange for recognition, visibility, five years of free access to the library, and introductions to others around the world. According to David Pells, PMWL managing director, “Dena focused on project risk management during her research for us, as that is the main subject of her graduate studies. As a result of her efforts, the risk section in the library was greatly expanded. For example, she provided information about 10 professional risk associations around the world, access to which is now available to library members.”

Dena stated, “The PM World Library internship was more interesting than I expected. I learned a lot and some of my research for the library is now helping me at the university. Plus my professor fully endorsed my participation, which was also positive. I would certainly recommend this experience to other students.”

Pells added, “Dena is another good example of the talented students who are participating in the intern program. She was very active, contributing another good research result and resource almost every week. I want to thank Dena for her contributions and wish her good luck with her education and career.”
