Chevron’s Gary Fisher to Keynote EVM World 2015 in May



Oil and gas industry executive to highlight importance of predictability for more successful projects

9 March 2015 – Virginia, USA – The College of Performance Management (CPM) has announced that Gary Fischer, General Manager of Chevron Corporation’s Project Resources Company (PRC) Consulting Services Group, will be a keynote speaker at EVM World 2015 in May. Mr. Fischer will speak on the topic of “Delivering Competitive and Predictable Oil & Gas Projects.” EVM World 2015, one of the largest events devoted to earned value management (EVM) will take place during 27-29 May 2015 in New Orleans, USA. Mr. Fischer is responsible for Chevron’s project management system, providing functional expertise to projects and support across the corporation’s worldwide major capital project portfolio. He has held numerous technical and leadership positions across downstream, chemicals and upstream including: Lead Engineer for a Shale Oil Semi Works Plant; Construction Manager for a Dimersol Project; Engineering Manager for a Linear Low Density Project; Construction Manager of a High Density Polyethylene Project; Project Manager of a Clean Fuels Project; and Benchmarking Manager for PRC.

Mr. Fischer is a member of the Construction Industry Institute (CII) and the Engineering and Construction Contracting association (ECC), contributes to other related associations such as the Project Management Institute, and serves on the Executive Board of the Association of Internal Management Consultants.
