Call for Papers for December PM World Journal



PMWJ invites articles and papers to highlight project management achievement and lessons learned during 2014

26 October 2014 – Dallas, London, Sydney – PM World is inviting authors around the world to submit new works for publication in the December edition of the PM World Journal. Articles and papers related to project achievement, lessons learned, knowledge captured and the celebration of professional project management are sought for the final edition of 2014. The following works would be welcomed:

  • 141026-pmwj28-works-PMWJ LOGOAdvisory articles – how to measure project accomplishments, how to celebrate success, how to share the credit
  • Case studies – stories about successful projects, or sub-projects, of any size in any industry – stories about projects to solve social problems very welcome
  • Commentaries – personal opinions about what is important in the PM world, or what has been accomplished in the PM profession this year
  • Featured Papers – new knowledge or research about program/project best practices, leadership, performance, teamwork – how can PM help local communities and economies?
  • Reports – descriptions of big events, developments, news from around the P/PM professional world – relive those exciting times!

According to Managing Editor David Pells, “We would like to feature works in the December PMWJ befitting the last publication of the year. I hope we can receive some new original contributions that describe project accomplishments, lessons learned or useful information to share as the 2014 comes to a close.”

“The end of the year is always a time for celebration and reflection,” Pells added. “Please consider sharing your experiences this year with readers in other parts of the world. Authors don’t have to be the best writers, just professional and sincere.”

Researchers, practitioners and experts are invited to submit an original article or paper for publication in the PM World Journal.
