Call for IPMA Research Awards Applications 2013


2 November 2012 – Vienna, Austria – The International Project Management Association (IPMA) has issued a Call for Project Management Research Awards for 2013.   Since 2007 IPMA organizes these awards to encourage excellent project management research.

IPMA distinguish several categories of prizes. The IPMA Young Researcher Award honours young researchers, for research which led to a PhD. In this category the jury in addition to a winner of the category, recognizes further excellent research contributions with the prize IPMA Outstanding Research Contribution by a Young Researcher. The IPMA Research Award honours established project management researchers for a particular research project accomplished.

Finally, the IPMA Research Achievement Award – which is per nomination only – honours an exceptional project management researcher for his or her achievements in research and contributions to the project management practice.

IPMA calls for applications for 2013 in the categories IPMA Young Researcher and IPMA Research Award. Applications may come from academia, other research institutions or industry. They may come from disciplines other than project management but must contribute to the development of project, program management, project-oriented companies or any element named in the ICB – International Competence Baseline.

Applicants and IPMA national association of prize winners are notified by 1. September 2013
