Project Management Update from Kosovo

Republic of Kosovo continues to prosper in terms of Project and Program Management, advancing implementation of principles and techniques for better results and more efficient use of scarce resources. Use of social media, social network and mobile applications development are only few promising trends for Kosovo’s economy in the upcoming years if not months. In the other hand, more countries continued to recognize Kosovo as independent country opening new perspectives and opportunities for young, educated and skilled jobless kosovars. A few important events that happened lately are listed as below:

KosICT is a Regional Conference organized by STIKK (Kosovo Association of Information and Communications Technology) and each year intends to cover the global trending topics of ICT by gathering international, regional and local speakers. In addition, this year KosICT will be hosting the South East European ICT Forum Board Meeting.

The conference was one day (27th of September 2012) and dealt with e-Governance, Role of Social Media in Business Development, Mobile Solutions and  Innovative Business Models. The conference was then followed with a B2B, where participating companies met and developed partnership or cooperation.

Mr. Mehmetaj has more than 12 years of professional experience in international environments including a number of management, support and advisory positions for various EU, USAID and other internationally financed enterprise and economic development organizations and projects, including the Hope Fellowship Program, the Kosova Private Enterprise Program, and the Kosova Trust Agency.  Kushtrim has extensive knowledge & experience in enterprise change management, modern corporate governance, strategic management, project management, financial & investment analysis, and human resource development.
