PMI membership increased again during 2013

The amount of PMI Chapter members in Spain has overcome the barrier of 5.000 members last October 2013. The PMI Madrid Chapter, after some slow growth during the months of June, July and August, grew again on September achieving 1.480 members last October. Regarding the amount of PMPs, the PMI Madrid Chapter is near 1.100.

PMI over the world (September 30th 2013):

  • PMI members: 438.449, the yearly increase is 10.31% since January 1st.
  • PMP certifications: 585.040, yearly increase of 14.62% since January 1st.
  • CAPM certifications : 23.793, yearly increase of 18.04% since January 1st
PMI in Spain (September 30th 2013):

  • PMI members: 4.896, Yearly increase of 39,85% since January 1st.
  • PMP certifications: 5.600, yearly increase of 44,78% since January 1st
  • CAPM certifications: 293, yearly increase of 51,03% since January 1st.

From these PMI official statistics on last September, Spain would continue being in the Rank number 10 from the countries with the highest number of PMI members. Spain would continue being in the rank 13th from countries with the highest number of PMP certified.

If we consider European countries only, Spain would have 4.896 members last September 2013, Spain would be after the UK (6.472) and Germany (6.428); but before France (4.340) and Italy (4.002).
