Introduction to the Book

This is the Ninth Edition of J. LeRoy Ward and Dr. Ginger Levin’s PMP Exam Practice Test and Study Guide.  In order to keep up with best practices the authors attend and present at PMI Congresses and PMI Chapters.

Overview of Book’s Structure

The book is just over an inch thick and not only contains a 200 question practice exam but 200 additional questions for a total of 400 questions.  The book contains a section for each of the ten processes with 40 questions for each process followed by the practice exam.  In addition the book contains study hints and a list of exam topics.

Be sure to read the Preface and Introduction!  Otherwise you will miss out on the online exam and the instructions on how use the book to practice for the test, which I feel is key information.

Highlights: What’s New in this Book

This Ninth edition presents questions based on A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge Fifth Edition (2013), better known as the PMBOK® Guide.

Another highlight is the book now gives you access to an online practice test and none of the questions covered on the online version are covered in the book exam.  Wonderful!
