PMI Madrid Chapter – Madrid, November 15, 2018

On November 15 it had place the ANNUAL EVENT of the PMI Madrid Chapter, which also celebrated its 15th anniversary of existence.

Evis Rosales, as chapter president, was responsible for the opening of the event. In her message, she shared the evolution and genesis of the “PMI Madrid Spain Chapter”, giving recognition to all the people who have collaborated to the development of the chapter over the past fifteen years, in its different participations, and who have made of this chapter, one that has highest number of volunteers as well as workshops and initiatives worldwide.

This year, we analyze the impact that new technologies, such as Blockchain, IoT, Big Data, among others, as well as innovation and the agile methodologies in project management. It was a busy day, 8 lectures and a panel discussion held to close the event with great conclusions.

We count with the participation of the Group of volunteers of “Toastmasters”, with Mario Villarejo as master of ceremonies, as well as Agustín Millán and Joaquín Azcárraga, and other volunteers who volunteered to participate in the event, nymph Muñoz, Zigor Lizuaín and Pedro Balsa, as presenters of the speakers. These presentations were made from a point of view more personal and not so formal, which helped to have lively introductions and generate a good dynamic in Congress.

Rafael Gerardo Weisz was the first of the speakers that the presentation “A change of perspective to understand the why of new technologies” and through various, video demonstrations, helped us to highlight new challenges and opportunities that are organizations face, and how these new technologies will help solve them.
