In 2013 IPMA has launched the Achievement Awards to give recognition to individuals (categories: Project Manager of the Year and Young Project Manager of the Year) and to projects run by NGOs, Governments and other organizations (categories: Internationally Funded Humanitarian Aid Project and Community Service / Development Project).
Finalists of the Awards will be invited to the 28th IPMA World Congress in Rotterdam (29th September – 1st October 2014). IPMA World Congress is a single platform to exchange experience of “Project Excellence” with other applicants at international level.
“The awards specifically gave me the opportunity to celebrate the
success of a wide range of projects from a breadth of nations
which I would otherwise not have been able to experience – for example
from vast desalination plants in Australia to IT connectivity for farmers
in Nepal and localized water filtration in Guatemala.“

We value achievements in incorporating sustainability into project outcomes. Therefore, winners of Internationally Funded Humanitarian Air Project and Community Service/ Development Project categories will be awarded at the major stream of the Congress which will be focused on sustainability.
