AIPM announces changes to RegPM Certification



9 June 2017 – Sydney, Australia – The Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) has announced process improvements to their Continuous Professional Development (CPD) program intended to streamline the recertification process for RegPMs. As a result of feedback received during their annual Member Satisfaction Survey, they looked for ways to make it easier for certified project professionals to log and maintain their CPD points.

As of 1 July 2017 certified members will be self-managing their own CPDs through a personal CPD log. Random audits will take place to ensure the profession continues to enjoy the reputation from which all Members benefit. RegPMs will still be required to attain 70 CPD points over the course of three years to maintain their certification.

Attendance at any AIPM events (such as Chapter Events, PM Webinars or the National Conference) will still have the allocated CDP points automatically credited to your MyAIPM profile on the AIPM website.
