15 June 2017– Dallas, London, Sydney – PM World has announced that 34 new articles, papers and other original works about program and project management (P/PM) have been added to the PM World Library (PMWL) this month. These contributions by 42 different authors in 19 different countries were published in the June 2017 edition of the PM World Journal (PMWJ). They can now be found among the most recent papers, articles and book reviews on the PMWL home page at http://www.pmworldlibrary.net/.

The new additions bring the total in the PM World Collection to over 2200 original works by 939 different authors in 65+ countries. The collection is growing each month by 30-40 new works from many different authors; of the 42 authors this month, 16 were new to the journal and library. Profiles of all authors in the library, along with access to their works, can be found at http://pmworldlibrary.net/author-showcase/.

According to PMWL Director David Pells, “We again had some outstanding new contributions this month. Everyone needs to read the featured paper titled ‘Gender Issues in Project Planning and Management’ from four researchers in Uganda. I’ve never seen the issue of gender equality addressed in this way before; it’s outstanding and breaks important new ground.”

New authors in June include Ksige Abdu (Uganda), Tony Bendell (UK), Alma Contreras (USA), Britta Eremit (Germany), Rizwan Hasnie (Pakistan/USA), Rick Kimball (USA), Nabunya Kulthum (Uganda), Jessica Kunkle (USA), Jim Miller (USA), Massimo Pirozzi (Italy), Mikal Raczka (Poland), Neil Robinson (UK/Australia), Rudy Rodriguez (USA), Ujeyo Margaret Stella (Uganda), Priti Vaid (India) and Timothy Wilson (USA/Sweden). New works from 26 authors already included in the library were also added.

“The papers by Stretton, Pirozzi, Olugboyega and Abu Dief are also excellent and on important topics,” Pells adds. “The other articles, reports and second edition papers are all worth reading, in my opinion. I also want to welcome our new authors this month. I hope more readers will share their experience, research and knowledge.”

In addition to the original papers, more news articles were added to the library archives this month, bringing the total to well over 2,200 articles.
