2nd College of Performance Management Chapter to launch in June with high powered Speaker Lineup


21 May 2014 – Virginia, USA – The second chapter of the College of Performance Management (CPM) will hold its inaugural meeting on June 3, 2014 in Huntsville, Alabama, USA.  The College of Performance Management proposed Tennessee Valley Chapter (CPMTV) Chapter’s kickoff meeting will be held from 2-5 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Research Park at 5903 University Drive in Huntsville.

Gary Troop — President of Encore Analytics and Current President of CPM will present an “Introduction to The College of Performance Management”

Jerald Kerby – NASA Earned Value Management (EVM) Program Executive will tell us about the “Status of EVM Implementation at NASA”

Chuck Hanes – Exploration Launch Systems Boeing will be presenting “Safe, Soon and Affordable: Applying Earned Value Management to the Development of the Space Launch System Core Stage”.

Jason Kinder – Business Manager, Steelray Software will present “Steelray Javelin: Integrating Cost and Schedule Data”

Gordon M. Kranz – the Deputy Director for Earned Value Management Performance Assessments and Root Cause Analyses in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Acquisition will present “PARCA EVM Policy and Reporting Updates”

Bob Wasser – Director of EVM Division BCF Solutions, will be master of ceremonies with introductions and a briefing (if there is time) on the Civilian Agency and Industry Working Group (CAIWG) Subcommittee “Working to develop an approach for Universities, Small Contractors, and Not for Profits Companies EVM Scalability”.

This meeting, being sponsored by Steelray, will include refreshments served after speakers, then networking, signup for membership, volunteers for future speakers, volunteers for elections as officers, and any companies that would like to host or sponsor a future meeting.

This is the first of what are expected to be many Quarterly CPM TV Chapter Meetings. Your presence and support will be the momentum for future meetings.
