Share your Project Management Experiences at UMD’s 5th Annual Symposium – Abstract Deadline is November 19th

13 October 2017 – College Park, Md. USA – The University of Maryland’s Project Management Center for Excellence has issued their call for papers and presentations for the 5th Annual University of Maryland Project Management Symposium.  The conference will take place 10-11 May 2018 at the University of Maryland campus in College Park.

Are you ready to share your project management experiences with your peers and participate in the University of Maryland’s Fifth Annual Project Management Symposium as a speaker?

Supporting the theme, “Turning Knowledge into Practice,” project management professionals from the Baltimore-Washington area and abroad will come together to share best practices and lessons learned, plus discover the latest advances in project management.  The 2017 Symposium welcomed its largest-ever audience with more than 330 experts from industry, government, and academe from all areas of the world. The 2018 event should be larger yet.

Individuals and organizations are invited to submit abstracts of papers or presentations to be featured in program sessions for the 2018 symposium. These papers and presentations can be case studies, lessons learned, best practices, research findings or the latest advances in project management.

Requested topics include:

  • Agile/IT
  • Complex Projects
  • Construction Management (including BIM)
  • Disaster Management
  • Education
  • Federal Programs
  • Integrated Program Management
  • People in Projects (Change Management, Conflict Resolution, Motivation, Negotiation)
