Dr. James Szot is director of the Naveen Jindal School of Management Executive Education graduate program in project management. He earned a PhD in Strategy, Programme and Project Management at Skema Business School, a Master of Science in Management and Administrative Science with an emphasis in organizational development and change management at The University of Texas at Dallas, a MBA with an emphasis in engineering management at the University of Dallas, and a Master of Engineering (Electrical) and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Cornell University. He is a Project Management Institute certified project management professional and a registered professional engineer and licensed real estate broker in the State of Texas. He chairs the Board of the Project Management Institute Global Accreditation Center (GAC) for Project Management Education Programs. Prior to his academic role, Szot held various management and engineering positions at Texas Instruments and NCR. His experience includes leading corporate development programs in 17 countries across Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North America. He previously served the community as a member of the Sachse, Texas, City Council, Planning and Zoning Commission and Economic Development Corporation.
