Sponsorships and Exhibition Opportunities Available for University of Maryland Project Management Symposium

23 April 2014 – College Park, Maryland, USA — Sponsorship and exhibition opportunities remain available for the Inaugural Project Management Symposium, taking place June 9-10, 2014, in the Stamp Student Union on the University of Maryland in College Park, Md. Project management product and service companies should consider participating in this inaugural conference.

Organized by the University of Maryland’s Project Management Center for Excellence and the Silver Spring Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI), this two-day event will provide sponsors with a one-of-a-kind opportunity to engage with nearly 300 Baltimore/Washington researchers and project management professionals from academe, industry and government as they explore best practices for today’s dynamic project environments. Even more, this year’s sponsors will play a unique role in helping to shape the region’s first-ever project management symposium of its kind.

In addition to presentations from representatives of the International Institute for Learning, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Federal Highway Administration, Ron Taylor Group, the International Project Management Association and the Maryland State Highway Administration, this can’t-miss event will feature more than 55 esteemed session speakers who will cover topics ranging from disaster management and human factors to performance measurement and project management in government.

Sponsorships are tax deductible and interested parties can view the full slate of opportunities online. Available sponsorship packages include:

  • Conference Sponsor: $10,000 – Your company will receive special conference sponsor nametags for all attendees, top sponsor signage billing, pre-conference broadcast email recognition, a special conference program profile, recognition at meals and events, an opportunity to introduce a speaker, special session-room signage and more.
  • Platinum Sponsor: $7,500 – Your company will receive a prime-location exhibit table, two full registrations with complimentary parking and the choice of an opening keynote introduction, opening reception, program book printing or graphic identity design package.
  • Bronze Sponsor: $1,000 – Your company will receive an exhibit table, a business-card sized program ad and the choice between sponsoring the program inside back cover, an attendee giveaway or nametag lanyards.
  • Patron: $500 – Your company name and logo will appear on the website and event signage.
