Annual Project Performance Management Conference reconfigured as International Workshop on earned value and integrated performance management

16 February 2013 – Virginia, USA – The College of Performance Management (CPM) has announced that registration is now open for the 29th edition of their popular earned value event – EVM World 2013.  This year’s event, reconfigured as the 29th Annual International Workshop, will again be held in Naples, Florida, USA during 29-31 May 2013.  The event will be at the spectacular Waldorf Astoria Naples hotel.  To learn more, visit http://evmworld.org/.

evm-world-2013EVM World 2013 will provide an opportunity to share knowledge and information about project performance management techniques, including earned value management (EVM). The three-day event will include educational opportunities, presentations and discussions on current topics from practicing professionals, access to world leaders in project performance management, networking opportunities, and information about the latest in software and consulting to make your program successful.

Training:  Training sessions will provide opportunities to improve basic and intermediate integrated program management knowledge and abilities. Key to the program is gaining a solid foundation in the principles of EVM and a thorough understanding of EVM data analysis techniques.

Practice Symposia: Lessons learned and best practices on the implementation of earned value management, updates on recent developments, and integrating project performance management with other management techniques. Papers will be presented that address the tools and techniques used to identify and implement Technical Performance Measures that are integrated with Earned Value Management or other program performance measures.

Workshops:  Forums will introduce and develop new and emerging practices and techniques to improve program management using project performance management. Objectives are to identify potential solutions. Workshops are not intended to provide training or instruction on project performance management.

Tools and Services: Tools and Services Track will cover the range of commercially available, world-class, performance management tools from earned value tracking to scheduling to reporting. Attendees will see the latest offerings from vendors and hear first-hand how these tools are effectively being used to manage today’s most complex programs.
