10 May 2014 – Dallas, London, Sydney – PM World has announced that 39 new articles, papers, reports and other original works about program and project management (P/PM) were added to the PM World Library (PMWL) in May.  These contributions by 46 different authors in 17 different countries were published in the May 2014 edition of the PM World Journal (PMWJ).  They can now be found among the most recent papers, articles and book reports on the PMWL home page at www.pmworldlibrary.net.

The new additions bring the total in the PM World Collection to 796 original works by 433 different authors from 56 different countries.  The collection is growing each month by 35-40 new works by many different authors.  Of the 46 authors in April, 20 authors were new to both the PMWJ and PMWL.  All works in the PMWL can be accessed at http://pmworldlibrary.net/pm-world-collection/.  Profiles of all authors in the PMWL, along with access to their works, can be found in the Author Showcase at http://pmworldlibrary.net/author-showcase/.

david-pellsAccording to PMWL Director David Pells (pictured), “We are excited to be adding so many new authors to the library each month, as one of our objectives is to provide authors of new P/PM knowledge with more recognition and visibility.  We are also happy to see more research papers coming our way. The PMWJ offers young researchers an easy way to start publishing, and to get their works into the public faster than more traditional routes. Some of these papers are really very interesting.”

“We have just announced our multi-dimensional tagging model for the PM World Collection in the library,” Pells adds.  “All original works in the library can now be sorted on one or more of 180 topic tags.  So readers might find what they are looking for a little more quickly.”

New authors in May include Misty Lorraine Bannister (USA), Hesham Bassioni (Egypt), Franco Concari (Italy), Pasquale DiRubbo (Italy), Bob Dragoon (USA), Ahmed El Ghanamy (Egypt), Amer Mohey El-Din Fahmy (Egypt), Maia Garau (Netherlands), Jimmy Godard (USA), Bernhard Haidaher (Guatemala), Tarek M.
