Moorhouse appoints Jose Cluer as new Public Sector lead

PEOPLE NEWS

17 February 2014 – London, UK – The British programme, project and change management consultancy Moorhouse has announced the appointments of Josie Cluer as Public Sector Lead. She will be heading up the public sector team and focusing on delivering significant transformation projects for clients in this sector.

140217-pmwl-julie-IMAGEJosie joins from KPMG, where she spent over four years leading large teams of clients and consultants working together to deliver high profile multi-million pound transformation programmes in the public sector.

As a former Special Adviser to a Cabinet Minister, she has worked at the most senior levels in Westminster and Whitehall, and brings a thorough knowledge of both to the team. She has over 12 years of experience in business transformation, programme management and culture change.

Josie comments: “It is an exciting time to be joining a company with such a strong track record in the delivery of change and transformation. Public sector leaders are grappling with rapid changes to our demands on services, the power and perils of technology, the shift towards a more diverse provider landscape and, of course, austerity. There will inevitably be pressure to complete ambitious reforms to public services in the coming year, and major change will be under increased scrutiny from ministers, the media and the public alike. I look forward to continuing my work in this dynamic sector at Moorhouse.”

Richard Jones, Executive Director at Moorhouse, comments: “We are delighted to be welcoming Josie to the Moorhouse team, as someone who has such outstanding experience delivering business critical programmes in the public sector. Moorhouse has a long and successful track-record in the sector and with Josie joining us, we know it will continue to go from strength to strength.”

Josie formally joined Moorhouse in November 2013. She is a chair of a fast-growing charity North London Cares and its new sister South London Cares. She is also a trustee of Alcohol Concern.
