Peter Hepworth, AXELOS CEO (pictured right), says Since the formation of AXELOS our user community has asked us to continue to show how our products fit with other frameworks and approaches. The MoU with IPMA demonstrates our commitment to fulfilling such requests.

“PRINCE2 and the IPMA framework, IPMA Competence Baseline, are complementary approaches for project management,” he added. “It can only be good that the owners of these two approaches are working together to clarify how PPM practitioners can get the best of both worlds.”

IPMA is a federation of over 60 Member Associations (MAs). The MAs develop project management competencies in their geographic areas of influence, interacting with thousands of practitioners and developing relationships with corporations, government agencies, universities and colleges, as well as training organizations and consulting companies.
