PM World Collection grows to 913 project management articles, papers & other works by 485 different authors in more than 50 countries

7 August 2014 – Dallas, London, Sydney – PM World has announced that 42 new articles, papers and other original works about program and project management (P/PM) were added to the PM World Library (PMWL) on August 6. These contributions by 48 different authors in 20 countries were published in the August 2014 edition of the PM World Journal (PMWJ). They can now be found among the most recent papers, articles and book reports on the PMWL home page at http://www.pmworldlibrary.net/.

The new additions bring the total in the PM World Collection to 913 original works by 485 different authors from 58 countries. The collection is growing each month by 30-40 new works by many different authors; of the 48 authors in August, 22 were new to the journal and library. All works in the PMWL can be accessed at http://pmworldlibrary.net/pm-world-collection/. Profiles of all authors in the library, along with access to their works, can be found at http://pmworldlibrary.net/author-showcase/.

140807-pmwj26-42-IMAGEAccording to PMWL Director David Pells (pictured), “This month’s PMWJ was one of the fullest yet, with five featured papers, six advisory articles, five commentary articles, three series articles, a case study, student paper and seven second editions this month, many by multiple authors. We also included articles or papers from authors in several new countries for the journal, from Bangladesh, Oman and Pakistan. We’ve had many readers in those countries, but no authors until now.”

“Authors are happy to see their showcase pages in the library,” Pells adds. “The author showcase pages allow readers to find other works by favorite authors more easily, and provide a place where authors can show more of their works.”

New authors in July include Zafar Ahmed (Pakistan), Gregory Osagie Akhibi (Nigeria), Hassan Al-Barrami (Oman), Carol Axten (USA), John Cable (USA), Christina M M Chin (Malaysia), Boon W. Chung (Malaysia), Elissa Farrow (Australia), Newton Freeland (USA), Neil Glover (UK), Oto Gurnita (Indonesia), John Hamer (USA), Jessica Iselt (USA), Xoxana Klimenko (Russia), Eldonna Lewis-Fernandez (USA), Walter Marjerowicz (USA), Alistair Marsden (UK), Eugene McGrath (Ireland), Asning Suryo Nindyanto (Indonesia), Moshfaqur Rahman (Bangladesh), Joseph Reddix (USA) and Pavan Sarvepalli (India). New works from 26 authors already included in the library were also added.

In addition to original papers, 35 more news articles were added to the library archives this month, bringing the total to well over 1,000 articles. News archives can be accessed at http://pmworldlibrary.net/ppm-news/.
